Panaché is owned and run by Fiona and Guy Auguy.

The chef, Guy, trained and worked in Paris from a young age. His culinary skills were rewarded when in 1977 he reached the National finals of Apprentice of the year.

Fiona trained as a chef in Hampshire, before moving to Switzerland, to continue her working experience. She met Guy whilst they both worked in the Montreaux Casino.
For 10 years, Fiona and Guy successfully ran a restaurant in France, this regularly featured in the Michelin Guide.


Our aim is for clients to enjoy good food, skillfully cooked, with a  personal and relaxed service.


Panaché is a modern day upbeat restaurant, specialising in authentic French cuisine and top quality English fare.

Proprietors Guy and Fiona Auguy run a smooth professional operation, combining subtle culinary finesse with a genuine warmth and friendliness.

Guy is a classically trained French chef with 40 years experience in the business and has featured regularly in the Michelin guide.
The extensive A La Carte menu is supplemented by two hugely popular competitively priced set menus.
The children’s menu is particularly good value.

The stylish interior is both light and spacious with a contemporary feel.
From the extensive bar area clients are transported out onto the expansive garden terrace. In the summer months the atmosphere is both buzzy and cosmopolitan, generating the sense of a collective Bon Homie.

Panaché has live music every night of the week during the Summer months. Our talented musicians offer diverse styles of music, from Classical to 50’s and 60’s, and some modern music too. They play, Piano, Guitar, Saxophone, and Drums.
